Howdy Howdy,

Well at lunch time I heard some really great teaching again. BUT, I was in too much of a hurry to type it in there then. So now I hope I can remember enough of it to make sense.

Today is Good Friday, Good for us (Believers) because Christ died for us. He didn't get killed for our sins, He gave up His life and received the full wrath of God for our sins.

Anyway, they were talking about one of the most shameful things that happens worldwide in relation to Christ dying for us. I'll start with the same analogy I heard them use. (This will be directed towards teens, tweens & young adults).

Imagine you doing something to totally offend your parents or an adult you respect. This thing not only offends them but they absolutely hate it when it happens. It may even hurt them emotionally or mentally.

Now, imagine when this adult discovers what YOU'VE done & finds you, they love you & forgive you completely with no retribution planned.

Now, you can either do this thing to them again, knowing it hurts them and knowing they forgave you, OR you can try to NEVER do it again and try to become a person who deserves that forgiveness (knowing you cannot ever deserve to be forgiven like that).

The choice is yours. How you will react is 100% up to you.

This is the same situation that happens with believers. They have been forgiven for every ugly, terrible sin in their life (not just to date, but for eternity-past, present & future). Now some people keep on doing what they are doing, knowing (or not caring) it hurts God or that He hates it. This is every sin under the sun: the big ugly obvious ones, down to being rude to adults, disobedient to your parents, etc. Seeing one movie when you told your parents you were seeing a different movie, THAT IS SIN.

The biggest shame world wide (which after hearing today's teaching I pretty much agree with) is.. Using the free love & grace of God as an excuse to keep on doing your sin. If you claim to be a believer and you don't try to focus on Christ and follow God's will for your life...that is shameful, sad & disappointing. Now we all know that each and every one of us will fail and fall. But if you don't recognize that you are falling away and repent, you are bringing shame to the teaching of Christ and what it means to be a believer.

Yeah, I know, I'm sounding like I'm on a soap box again, BUT to me, this is important. Go in knowing you will fall sometimes, but at least try to live for Christ & acknowledge Him each time you slip, slide or fall away. When you carry on like "it's your life and nobody's going to tell you what to do" -in your mind you say "I'm not going to do this just because you want me to" (even if it's something you should do)-you are shaming yourself and embarrassing the body of Christ.

Remember...

Your worst days are never so bad
that you are beyond the REACH of God's grace.
And your best days are never so good
that you are beyond the NEED for God's grace

It's true, It's true Sarah
Don't you believe her....

Ha I've broken into Frank's Blog. He'll NEVER know it was me

No REALLY it is NOT True...I was lying. Mary is innocent and would NEVER intentionally mislead you. Mary is too sweet and too kind to ever do anything like that. It's ALWAYS Frank who does those things.

Ok, Pad Thai is much better for ya...

It goes well with the 5 diet cokes it took to put my tongue out ( I know it was on fire because there is still smoke smoldering..)

I heard some more great teaching today & I LOVED the group we had last night.

It was great to have Master Nate back..
Robert was also a joy as always..
Jameson lasted all night without 1 "Lurch" coment
And I got to pick on Fast Eddie, David & Daniel.. (I will pick on Jesus next time)

Michael sat listened and laughed with us plus he answered questions I probably couldn't have so the group was well rounded (Kinda like Ushlah!)

Hey anyone who's bored I'm putting up boards on Saturday starting at 10:00 ish.. am
So come one come all & Mawee will wash your car while I put ya to work (Or something like that)...LOL

OK,

Arrrrrgh,

Well Mawee & Sarah cheated and caused me to lose!!! The 2nd game Tee Hee.....

Yep that's right it was another marathon night for Settlers... I'm now looking for local meetings for SA.

So my stuff today didn't go as bad as I thought it might, It was finished in 1 day but it wasn't bad either. I guess I seem to always prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

Tomorrow I meet with the folks from Knott Ave church.. that will be way cool. We have 31 people going in our group now... Way Cool !!!

Well I'm gonna go eat some left over chicken & dumplin's then scoot to bed, I got my million$ to make tomorrow.

T T F N

YAAAAAAWWWNNNN,

Yahoo I have today off!! BooHoo I have it off for a very UN fun reason. I am home today dealing with, what is hopefully, the last parts of some looses ends..

So pray for me that I will be calm and focused as today unfolds in front of me.

But I did get soem good rest, that helps. Last night we played Settlers again... And even though "Sirah", "Mawee" & "Donnie" all tried to cheat I still won fair & square.

Tomorrow we meet with another church to discuss what activities they will be joining us on (Possiblt Student Conference & poss Pismo Beach). I'm excited about this meeting.

I got to teach yesterday as I said, I am still way jazzed about that. I love it when I get feedback from the students of anytype. The feedback I got yesterday was that they enjoyed searching multiple scriptures to confirm certain & specific traits about Christ. So I think it went well.

Well I gotta run for now, But I'm sure I'll add lots more later...

Howdy Howdy,

Well it's official I hate sharing the 'puter with so many people. Everytime I want to get online for something someone esle is already using it..LOL

Well here I am, I beat them all up and took over...

So this weekend was a nice weekend (Excpt I hate the grey cold weather we had on Saturday). Today was great though I got to teach..

Actually, I more or less orchistrated the study and the yutes taught each other. We were studying all of the aspects of Jesus Christ (How many bullet points can YOU make about Christ?).

We touched on 25 to 50 different facts but there are many many more.

This is all in preperation for the coming student conference...

I'm way excited about that too (Maybe I'm still a kid eh?).

So in two weeks I get to teach again ( I think I'll teach more then.. That will be on who Christ claims he is..

The worse part of today was this (So many students missing in action...)
Kristen, Sasha, Felix, Jaime, Alicia, Jessica, Robert, George, David, Fast Eddie, Brandon & Leah.

With all those people missing today we still had 14 students.. Nice turnout...

Well I'm gonna go dig more holes so I'll say something profound later..
